1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase of tickets, attendance at performances, participation in events, enrollment in subscription programs, use of our website, and access to our venue and services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Can Can Portland (“Can Can,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By purchasing tickets, enrolling in a season pass, entering our premises, or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.
2. About Can Can Portland
Can Can Portland is a cabaret dinner theatre venue offering live theatrical performances, dining service, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and related entertainment experiences.
3. Ticket Purchases
3.1 Direct Sales
All tickets are sold directly by Can Can Portland through our website, box office, or authorized sales channels.
3.2 Final Sale Policy
Unless otherwise stated:
All ticket sales are final.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
No refunds or exchanges will be issued for missed performances, late arrivals, or personal scheduling conflicts.
3.3 Performance Changes
We reserve the right to:
Change show content, performers, or casting
Modify performance dates or times
Cancel or reschedule performances
If a performance is canceled (not rescheduled), ticket holders may receive either:
A credit toward a future performance, or
A refund of the face value of the ticket
Refunds do not include incidental costs (travel, lodging, etc.).
4. Seating & Dining
4.1 Seating Arrangements
Seating arrangements are determined at our discretion and may include communal seating depending on the event.
4.2 Late Arrival
Late arrivals may be seated at an appropriate break in the performance at staff discretion. Entry is not guaranteed once the show begins.
4.3 Food & Beverage Service
Food and beverages may be available for purchase. Outside food and beverages are prohibited unless required for medical reasons.
Food allergy disclosures must be communicated in advance. While we make reasonable efforts to accommodate allergies, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
5. Season Pass / Subscription Program
If Can Can offers a season pass or subscription model, the following terms apply:
5.1 Enrollment
Season passes grant access to designated performances during a defined season period. Benefits may include priority booking, discounted pricing, exclusive events, or other perks as described at the time of purchase.
5.2 Auto-Renewal (If Applicable)
If offered as an auto-renewing subscription:
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the subscription term unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
Renewal charges will be processed using the payment method on file.
You authorize recurring charges upon enrollment.
You may cancel renewal at any time before the next billing date.
5.3 Cancellation
Season pass fees are non-refundable once the season has begun unless otherwise stated in writing.
If cancellation is permitted:
Cancellation affects future renewals only.
No prorated refunds are guaranteed.
5.4 Blackout Dates & Availability
Season pass holders are subject to availability and may be restricted from certain premium, special, or sold-out performances.
5.5 Revocation
We reserve the right to revoke a season pass without refund for:
Violation of these Terms
Disruptive behavior
Fraudulent use or resale of benefits
6. Age Restrictions
Certain performances may contain adult themes, language, or content. Attendees are responsible for reviewing content advisories.
If alcohol is served:
Guests must be 21+ to consume alcohol.
Valid government-issued ID is required.
We reserve the right to deny entry based on age restrictions for specific performances.
7. Code of Conduct
All guests must behave respectfully toward performers, staff, and other patrons.
We reserve the right to remove any guest without refund for:
Harassment or discrimination
Excessive intoxication
Disruptive behavior
Unauthorized recording
Violation of law
Failure to follow venue policies
8. Photography & Recording
Unauthorized photography, video recording, or live streaming of performances is prohibited.
By attending a performance, you consent to possible photography or video recording by Can Can Portland for promotional and marketing purposes. If you wish to opt out, you must notify us in writing prior to attendance.
9. Ticket Resale & Fraud Prevention
Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain without our written consent.
We are not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized resale platforms. Fraudulent tickets will not be honored.
10. Assumption of Risk
By entering our premises and attending performances, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with:
Live performance environments
Food and beverage consumption
Interaction with performers or guests
Accidents, slips, falls, or illness
You participate at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Oregon law:
Can Can Portland, its owners, employees, performers, and affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the ticket or subscription at issue.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Property Damage
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to venue property by themselves or members of their party. We reserve the right to charge for repair or replacement costs.
13. Accessibility
We comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Guests requiring accommodations should contact us in advance to ensure proper arrangements.
14. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve a dispute may result in:
Revocation of tickets or subscriptions
Restriction from future purchases
We reserve the right to provide documentation to financial institutions to contest improper disputes.
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for cancellation or delay due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Government restrictions
Public health emergencies
Natural disasters
Labor disputes
Power outages
In such cases, remedies may include rescheduling or venue credit at our discretion.
16. Privacy
Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at: cancanportland.com/privacy-policy
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon.
18. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
